5 Minute Craft: Deck the Walls

This cozy yarn-wrapped wreath is a great alternative to pine (bonus: you can reuse it year after year). It's a cinch to make, and pretty darn cute.

You'll need:

  • a foam wreath form
  • yarn
  • twigs
  • feathers
  • a button
  • hot glue gun
Make it:
  1. Attach one end of the yarn to the back of the wreath form using a drop of hot glue. Wrap the yarn all the way around the form and glue other end to the back, too.
  2. Snip some twigs from your yard so they're all the same size. Use hot glue to arrange in a star pattern, and then glue to the wreath form.
  3. Wrap yarn around the twigs using an over-under pattern as you wrap your way around. Top with a button, secured with hot glue.
  4. Attach feathers on each side of the star.
