This cozy yarn-wrapped wreath is a great alternative to pine (bonus: you can reuse it year after year). It's a cinch to make, and pretty darn cute.
You'll need:
- a foam wreath form
- yarn
- twigs
- feathers
- a button
- hot glue gun
Make it:
- Attach one end of the yarn to the back of the wreath form using a drop of hot glue. Wrap the yarn all the way around the form and glue other end to the back, too.
- Snip some twigs from your yard so they're all the same size. Use hot glue to arrange in a star pattern, and then glue to the wreath form.
- Wrap yarn around the twigs using an over-under pattern as you wrap your way around. Top with a button, secured with hot glue.
- Attach feathers on each side of the star.
