Neighbors

I love sneaking a peek at other people's gardens. Maybe this makes me a bit of a creeper, but I like to think that I'm just always on the hunt for inspiration. Either way, I couldn't resist snapping a shot of this neighbor's beautifully manicured bonsai collection! Not lucky enough to live next to a bonsai-pruner? Pay a visit to the awesome C.V. Starr Bonsai Museum at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden--it's the most extensive collection outside of Japan!

(P.S.--The garden on the right belongs to my future mother-in-law, and it has some treasures of its own, including a yummy fig tree and some newly planted peppers that tasted great in her homemade manicotti.)
