Sometimes a gal just wants to make something in a hurry. No fancy tools, no laundry list of steps. In my new column, "5-Minute Craft," I'll show you some cool ways to get your craft on in a jiffy. This time: a paper owl collage.
This cute critter is a cinch to make.
You'll need:
- patterned paper (I got these from Paper Presentation)
- pencil
- scissors
- glue stick
- circular craft punches (optional)
Make it:
- Draw an owl shape and cut it out.
- Cut out a wing shape and nose.
- Use a craft punch to make two different sizes of circles for the eyes. (No craft punch? You can also just trace something circular.)
- Glue all parts down.

Have more than 5 minutes? This paper quilt from Country Living is a little ambitious, but it looks so worth it. What cozy wall decor!
