5-Minute Craft: Collaged Owls

Sometimes a gal just wants to make something in a hurry. No fancy tools, no laundry list of steps. In my new column, "5-Minute Craft," I'll show you some cool ways to get your craft on in a jiffy. This time: a paper owl collage

This cute critter is a cinch to make.

You'll need:

  • patterned paper (I got these from Paper Presentation)
  • pencil
  • scissors
  • glue stick
  • circular craft punches (optional)

Make it:
  1. Draw an owl shape and cut it out.
  2. Cut out a wing shape and nose.
  3. Use a craft punch to make two different sizes of circles for the eyes. (No craft punch? You can also just trace something circular.)
  4. Glue all parts down.

Have more than 5 minutes? This paper quilt from Country Living is a little ambitious, but it looks so worth it. What cozy wall decor!
