My Love Affair with William Morris

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I spent the weekend dreaming about one of Gatsby's confetti-drenched soirees. Suddenly, I'm enamored with plush textiles and lush patterns. William Morris's wallpaper fits the bill.

This stunner, a Victorian print from about 1890, would look deliciously decadent on a large scale. Could I roll with the Gatsby crew? I'm not a drinker, so I obviously couldn't sling coupes of champagne until the wee hours. But, like oddly alluring/mostly whiny Daisy, I'm a total brat about the heat and would love to convalesce in a swanky parlor. Summer's almost here. Let's do it, girl.
