5-Minute Craft: Fabulous Fudge

It's a craft. It's a snack. It's perfect.

This white-chocolate wonder is a great treat to have on hand for a New Year's bash. (It's also a thoughtful way to respond to an unexpected gift when you didn't purchase something in return.)

You'll need:

  • 2 bags of white chocolate chips
  • 1 14-oz can of condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries
[Note: You could substitute milk chocolate chips and switch up the add-ins--I bet that papaya, pineapple, and walnuts would be a refreshing twist.]

Make it:
  1. Cover a 8' square baking dish with foil; set aside.
  2. Melt the white chocolate and condensed milk over low heat until combined.
  3. Remove from heat. Mix in sliced apricots and dried cherries.
  4. Chill until solid (at least 2 hours).
  5. Store covered in a cool place.
I toted my batch to my family's Christmas gathering in Toronto. Pretty Martha Stewart gift boxes made great packages for individual servings. Yum!
