Roundup: Prettiest Letters Ever

In another life--where I have prettier handwriting and am less of a lazy bum--I'd be the queen of correspondence. Who doesn't love opening a handwritten letter? I keep all of my penned packages in a little shoebox. It's a little heartbreaking to realize that we live in such a digital age that I hardly recognize Jason's handwriting (though I'd be able to pick his text messages out of any line up). Pen-to-paper exchanges just feel special--and these little additions really take them over the top.

Postage

These new stamps from the USPS are based on vintage seed packets. Obviously, there's no way I could resist.

Return Address Stamp

It feels oh-so-grown-up to be able to slap a return address stamp onto your letters--but when you're a young person who bounces from apartment to apartment, it doesn't make sense to order in bulk: you'd just end of up stockpiling a bunch of labels that remind you of ghosts of apartments past. Solution: this cute fill-in-the-blank stamp. (etsy.com/2impress)

Washi Tape

Save your tongue from paper cuts (yeeeeeouch) and seal your envelopes with a piece of pretty patterned washi tape. I love these whimsically nerdy varieties based on antique encyclopedias. ($8; cutetape.com)
